ningenneh tunapry - the new Tasmanian Aboriginal Gallery at the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery
TMAG's Learning and Discovery Team, together with the Aboriginal Education Unit, have developed a free education program to work with the Tasmanian Aboriginal Gallery, ningenneh tunapry. During some terms, free workshops will be run by the Aboriginal Education Unit’s Cultural Ambassadors, covering storytelling, technologies, weaving and art. Available the whole time are two workshops run by the TMAG staff. For more information visit the TMAG education resources page.

NSW Department of Education and Training - Aboriginal perspectives in the curriculum
Aboriginal perspectives are incorporated into the Human Society and Its Environment syllabus to provide all students with the opportunity to learn about the Aboriginal history, society and cultures. The syllabus also references specific Aboriginal subject matter.

On Wednesday 13 February at 8.55am (Australian Eastern Standard Time) the Prime Minister Kevin Rudd made an apology to Indigenous Australians.
