Protocols for Libraries, Archives and Information Services
The Protocols are intended to guide libraries, archives and
information services in appropriate ways to interact with
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in the communities
which the organisations serve, and to handle materials with
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander content.

developed a free education program to work with

During some terms, free workshops will be run by the
Aboriginal Education Unit’s
Cultural Ambassadors, covering storytelling,
technologies, weaving and art. Available the
whole time are two workshops run by the TMAG staff.

Aboriginal perspectives are incorporated into the Human
Society and Its Environment syllabus to provide all students
with the opportunity to learn about the Aboriginal history,
society and cultures. The syllabus also references specific
Aboriginal subject matter.
